Antenna VSWR

Here's a look at tracking antenna VSWR over time. The minimum VSWR frequency shifts down when an antenna gets coated with ice. Also, some repairs, tuning, etc. have taken place over time.

Rotator replaced and driven element guy support post adjusted to make the driven element more parallel with the other elements. Also, it's snowing today, though ice nomrally lowers the resonant frequency (and here, resonant frequencies are high). It does not appear that any traps are damaged. When the weather improves, will investigate further. I SUSPECT the issue is the readjustment of the support mast. A3S pointed WEST.

Weather warmed up and snow melted. All looks good! Each band tested with 500 watts or more on A3S. A3S pointed WEST. The inverted V is used on several bands. The images show the frequency (the M2 frequency and VSWR) of each relative minimum in VSWR.
